Note that there are no Drives listed in the lower half of the screen. The target drive is UEFI, so should be no problem there. It's the 4th Primary Volume on a six partition drive. So, I created several screenshots 1) Screenshot1 shows the volume to be restored, with the c: partition selected. Refresh does not alter that, even aftter some minutes. From the "Create a backup" tab, no drives are listed. The folder icon in the system tray (near the lower-left corner) launches PE Explorer, which provides basic file browsing and modification capabilities.

And on the subject of Rescue Media tips, if you ever actually NEED to browse your file systems, Macrium includes a utility for that so you don't have to do it through "Browse for an image file".

Just press it and then a file browser dialog will pop up asking you where to save the full screen screenshot it just captured.

The Rescue Media supports the PrintScreen key, fyi. If you're still having trouble, screenshots would probably help here. You might have to scroll that list though. If the original source disk from which a selected image was captured is available, then it should be auto-selected as the restore target, but at the very least you should be able to click "Select a different target disk" there and see all available disks. If you see it there, then it should also be available in the Restore wizard.

I remember a case a while ago where some driver took too long to load, so a disk wasn't initially accessible but would become available after clicking Refresh.

Do you see your disk and its partition map listed there? If not, click the "Refresh" link in the upper-left corner to have Reflect rescan the hardware. In your Rescue environment, go to the "Create a backup" tab. If it were a driver issue, you wouldn't be able to browse your internal disk, so I doubt that's it.

Any ideas how I can get this system to restore? System: Reflect v7, using Rescue Media built with Windows RE (hangs), and also built with Windows PE 10 (target drive not listed). This gets as far as booting Windows, but hangs right as the Windows logo "coagulates" on the screen. This smacks of a device driver issue, so I built a new Reflect USB, this time using Windows RE. In summary, I can see the target drive listed as a source to restore FROM, but not as a target to restore TO. What's confusing is that if (just as a test) I select "browse for an image file" in the top panel, I DO see the internal drive listed as an option, and I can open files and move about the filesystem. The ONLY device shown is the external device that I am restoring from. when I "select a disk to restore to." in the lower panel). However, I can NOT see the internal drive listed as a target for the restore operation (i.e. I can select that image and see the individual partitions. When I load up Reflect (built with Windows PE 10) I can see the external media containing the drive image that I took earlier. It's a full-drive image (all partitions). The image was taken from this same drive, using the same Reflect USB (built with Windows PE 10). I've done this operation many times before, on many different systems.
